The Parsonage

Excellent room and great location. It’s a large house with tall ceilings and probably triple brick? It hid 30 degrees yesterday, I was able to sleep through the night nice and cool. Furthermore I awoke one morning to smell bacon and eggs cooking. Excellent breakfast and great views too. I’d definitely stay again, lastly very nice hosts.

Beautiful grounds, quiet, super hosts, very friendly and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

quiet and welcoming, but difficult to find entrance

This is our first visit when drive up the long drive its a wow factor. We were greeted by host shown all amenities. Our room had double bed ( matress a bit soft for us) but this didn't detract from our sleep or the room. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it.Overall we enjoyed our stay and was perfect for our trip to Cheddar.

Warm welcome on our arrival, comfortable spacious double room and ensuite. Goodnight sleep. Delicious full English breakfast with choice of cereals, juice,tea or coffee . Very friendly owners. Beautifully situated. Many thanks. We will return.

This is an experience you must try. We had a great stay and would definitely go again. The hosts are proper people who genuinely make a real effort to make you happy and comfortable. Ignore those bad reviews. They forgot to mention the room rate and the exceptionally breakfast.

It was a beautiful house and spotlessly clean. Amazing views from the dining room over the resevoir. Very nice owners, very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend 😊

Good stay very quiet and great breakfast

Pat and Roger are friendly and very helpful. The room was OK though the wallpaper was loose because of damp. I am hypersensitive to conditions like damp. The bed was OK but the pillows were awful and meant uncomfortable nights sleep for me. The driveway leading to the house is in a terrible state. I chose not to stay the final night of three partly because of these factors. Separate to the house issues, Hotels.com accepted Tesco coupons towards the cost of payment despite Pat having no knowledge of this and declaring that she didn't take coupons. Something was wrong somewhere. On a good note, the green lawn in front of the house was lovely with stunning views.
