Rada, die Haushälterin, war so herzlich und zuvorkommend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ausserdem macht sie das beste Rührei in Sri Lanka :) Dam, der Manager, hat uns gute Tipps zum Ort und zur Weiterfahrt gegeben. Das Zimmer fanden wir richtig gut. Es war sehr sauber, geräumig und hell. Ausserdem hatte es eine Klimaanlage und gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Wir konnten unsere Wasserflaschen mit Filterwasser auffüllen. Die Küche ist nicht so gut ausgestattet, das war für uns aber nicht schlimm. Die Lage fanden wir ebenfalls gut. Es ist ein wenig ausserhalb des Forts (2min zu Fuss oder 5 min Tuk Tuk für 200 Rs.).

Location was close to the seafront. Clean roomy one bed apartment we had with lounge kitchen and balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast was ample and varied every day. Washing machine was a treat especially when one is travelling. The staff were exceptional and very responsive at all times almost like family. Credit goes to all 3 staff members who keep the place running well.

The accommodation was excellent except the lounge and kitchen area were extremely hot and uncomfortable during the day. There was a stand alone fan provision but by no means adequate. Airflow was v restricted and therefore one cannot make use of the lounge until much later in the day. Air conditioning unit is a must in lounge area together with a ceiling fan. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan exists in the bedroom which was great. Why does this basic facility does not exist throughout the apartment?
