Monica was an extremely accommodating and professional host, helping us book restaurants and transport while on site. We had a fantastic view of the lake from our room, and access to a wide range of facilities. The property is huge and while we noticed other guests around there, there was a great deal of privacy and quiet. Great breakfast! A perfect stop for some rest on our tour of Piemonte - we would definitely stay again!

There was little not to like! Parking was perhaps a little narrow and tricky to manoeuvre into, but that was more the fault of our car being too long than the property

Monica’s hospitality made you feel at home. Plus the place is amazing and the views were phenomenal.

This has been a family owned and run business since 1950’s by two generations of women with vision and a desire to provide the best possible visitor experience. The vistas of Lake Orta and mountains are breathtaking from every direction and the SPA Wellness facilities and treatments are spectacular (our acknowledgement and appreciation to Denise for her dedication to the meaning of Wellness and her dedication). This is a quiet couple’s only property which has undergone extensive and beautiful restoration which had everything we could ask for.

We have absolutely zero complaints.

The property is very beautiful and the setting perfectly made to relax. The rooms were spotless clean and we loved the breakfast.

Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of room for improvement when it comes to service/communication. First of all, do not be mislead by the idea that the spa or wellness area would be free. It is possible to use the sauna etc one single time during an entire stay otherwise there will be a 150 Euro charge for any additional use. Moreover, the internet did not work well enough to work in our room. Also, when there was a power outage (which of course can happen) the host did not really know how to help us for quite some time (over whatsapp) which seems a bit inappropriate (we had to figure it out ourselves and switches of rooms were mixed up which made it very tricky). Overall, there could be quite a few improvements.

This is a small boutique hotel (only 7 apartments). There is a spa, sauna, pool, jacuzzi and lounge / bar area all with magnificent views over Lake d'Orta. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there is a wide choice of hot and cold dishes available for breakfast in your room - and some excellent restaurants in the village and local town (Pettenasco) - just a 5 minute drive away. The staff are very friendly and they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

The only drawback is that the private parking area about 50 metres from the hotel (and the access roads in the village) are better suited to a little Fiat 500 than to a Volvo XC60.

Everything about this property was A+++. Exceptional views, room and property. Out host, Monica,was fantastic, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we required and was very helpful providing concierge services. Jacuzzi and pool areas are excellent with outstanding scenic views of the lake and surrounds. Great selection of food and drink for breakfast, delivered to your room right on requested time.

That I couldn't spend another week there...

We stayed in the penthouse suite and the views were spectacular! Monica was a great hostess and helped in everyway possible...from places to see, restaurants, the spa. I would highly recommend the Villa Antica, you will not be disappointed! A definite 10! We will be back!

The location, the appartment, the breakfast and the massages, all was above expectations. We were welcomed by Monica, who was always avaiable during our stay. Helped by good weather we enjoyed the terrace and seating arrangements. The proposed restaurant was indeed easily reachable and very nice as well. All and all a super experience!

There is nothing we would to be better as it was.

The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast a 10. The view special.

The orientation wasn't very good. It rained the whole time and no recommendations were offered on what to do. 6000 channels, one English .. the news. The internet kept going down. The bed was very soft and the pillows hard.
