Your SPA Experience at Villa Antica Colonia: Kyra sauna by Hafro, where the transparency of the crystal, the light diffused by the internal lamp and the precious woods, instill well-being and bring back the purest Finnish tradition, restoring harmony and serenity to the body and mind. G-Steam hammam by Hafro: multi-climate Turkish bath with shower, chromotherapy and aromatherapy..here regeneration and deep relaxation are at first place. Minerva mini-pool by Hafro: tub with Whirpool Airpool hydromassage system (micro-air bubbles from the nozzles at the bottom of the tub + water and air jets from the side nozzles) and chromotherapy...enjoy the bubbles of the hydromassage and to float lightly wrapped in the heat of the burning wood in the fireplace. Shower area, equipped with a splendid stainless steel shower head with two separate functions: rain jet, to be used before the Turkish bath and sauna to relax the muscles and prepare the skin by dilating the pores; waterfall with cold water jet to be used after Turkish bath and sauna. Relaxation Area with lake view. “The Vaults” is for the exclusive use of the couple. The rates include the exclusive use for the couple of the private SPA for 2 hours. The access to the SPA is only on reservation and is subject to availability. Therefore it is highly recommended to book the SPA in advance to grant you the service during your stay. Spa access is not included in the non-refundable rate.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Everything was perfect, Monica is an exceptional host nothing is too much trouble. The villa is immaculate with stunning views. We stayed in the penthouse apartment which exceeded our expectations.

"Relax in peace and quiet"

Combine a 5*****hotel style service with the passion of a family run business, in a picturesque setting, and you get an idea how great this place is. Lovingly restored villa, combines modern amenities with the charming atmosphere of old times. Also every excursion, reservation, activity you are interested in is conveniently organised by the owners, including pick up from the Villa or delivery to the Villa. Beauticians and massage therapists come to the Villa when booked. Ebikes are delivered to the villa when ordered. Great place to go hiking or to explore small Italian villages (including shopping tours!). The larger Metropolitan areas are just an hour drive away. Lago d'Orta is less touristy than the other lakes and that makes it perfect for experiencing true Italian lifestyle. We will be back!

Honestly, can't think of anything at the moment. The things I would add onto my wish-list are already in preparation, ie in house Sauna/Spa and a larger pool.

Immaculate property, excellent service - the views from the terrace are unreal, the kindness of Monica is above and beyond. We had such a great time relaxing here - the property is better than the photos, such an extremely special part of the world. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property!

My wife and I spent a delightful couple of days at Villa Antica Colonia. Monica was a superb host, very welcoming and extremely helpful. The property is grand and lovely, with quite spectacular views across Lake Orta, both from our room and the huge sun terrace. Highly recommended for a romantic few days away.
