"Good place to stop for a night or 2 in Toyohashi"

Location right next to Toyohashi station- access to both Shinkansen and Tokaido main lines, and a shopping center/grocery center/food court with something for everyone. I arrived a bit before official 1500 check in time (between 14:00-15:00) but they checked me in right away despite this, which was very helpful due to having heavy luggage with me. Microwave, vending machines, and usual amenities in lobby. Rooms equipped with independent AC/heating units

The bullet trains passed by often, and were audible, but not disturbingly loud. However, I was also placed in a room right next to the elevator, which caused the walls to vibrate audibly every time someone used it, and that was more disturbing to me. There was some kind of air flow/insulation issue, so the room would become very cold at night- fortunately rooms were equipped with independent AC/heating units. There were also some signs of mold/mildew, and some stains on the walls/ceiling as well as the duvet.
