Hyatt Place Beijing Daxing

Booked for 2 nights. Since we were out for most of the day, we were there only to sleep. Good room and service. Breakfast was okay. Room was clean and spacious. It is a bit far, if your purpose is to explore the tourist areas of Beijing. Is about an hours drive to downtown.

Beijing Daxing Hyatt Place is located an upcoming convention area of Fengtai. It is a 30 min drive from the new Daxing airport. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the Livat shopping mall which houses many international and local retail outlets, restaurants, a cinema, a huge supermarket, atms. The subway is linked via the mall. The property is non smoking and the room is comfortable and well carpeted. The Breakfast buffet has a good selection of western and local dishes. Would highly recommend this hotel to any traveller, which service quality is consistent with the Hyatt brand.

No welcoming on arrival. Staff at reception just said we are early if we wanted a room, we could pay an extra half a day. but later on another staff check us in at 1pm instead of 3pm. We booked a room for 3 people and paid for 3 people but only 2 people were allowed breakfast , we had to pay and extra 100CYN plus VAT for the third person. Most day we had to go on tours prior to breakfast and they did not even offer a take away coffee which most hotel do. The night shift staff were helpful by booking us taxi . Air con in room did not work properly on arrival. Hotel far from Beijing CBD. No tours pick up, we had to catch taxi every morning to go to Beijing CBD to join tours.

The Hotel is New. The location is Excellent!!, near the metro Linea 4 Station Xihongmen, and near a Great Shopping Mall The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special Mention for Milly and Leo they helped us a lot. The rooms are very comfortable. Cleaning 10 Points!! We feel very happy at the Hotel For all of this We highly recommend the Hotel Hyatt Place Beijing Daxing

Hi, We Stayed at Hyatt Place Beijing Daxing, would like to commend exceptional service of the General Manager,he personally taking care of every guest,very highly commendable job done by him,he is a asset to Hyatt organization.

The Hyatt Place is a very good option for Beijing. It is located in a new area in town. Close to subway line 4 and next to a big shopping mall with lots of food options. The hotel has a great Breakfast with many Chinese options.

Above all else, I simply couldn’t sleep because the room was to hot and stuffy. The temperature outside was about 10C but 26.6C in the room. The individual room temperature control pictured can be changed, but doesn’t do anything but turn on a fan. I lowered it to 18C with no effect. The front desk confirmed individual rooms cannot be changed and could only open the window (which faces a road with mild street noise). Looking out, I see other rooms with open windows too. Evidently, they know this to be a problem. Other minor issues is the gym is small and it is a 10 minute walk to the metro. It feels like you should have a car to stay here. Otherwise, the hotel gets 2 stars and not 1 because it is new, the room includes everything you expect, and breakfast is great. BUT, one expects to be able to sleep reasonably comfortably at a hotel which I most certainly could not. Thus I advise staying elsewhere.
