NZBeautiful peaceful rural location not far from the Rail Trail. Very friendly welcoming host Peter told us about the historical homestead & area. Feed the very friendly large pet sheep ! Great Fishing spot nearby close to the green bridge. Good breakfast & homemade bread. Enjoyable stay. Thankyou .

NZA wonderful historic home (with modern conveniences) in a rural setting. ‘Beanbag’ the giant sheep is a charmer.
NZWe lived staying here but it was too far from middle march where we had to be Otherwise we would have stayed longer
NZWe cycled out to the Farm.... wondered where we were going...down dirt road... down farm track. Farmhouse looks very old at a distance ... and it is! But clean as ..peaceful.. historic features abound... a step back in time. Peter is warm and gracious host. Lent us a car to get back to Waipiate Hotel for evening meal which was busy with locals and cyclists. Good value and good quality.
