Lodge Las Estrellas de Samara - Ocean View

Nathan was such a fantastic host - helping us in several ways (directions/dinner/breakfast/advice). The view from our room was just amazing. Breakfast was delicious too. This was the perfect place to enjoy our time Costa Rica - only wish we could have stayed longer! Best to have a 4x4 to get there.

Nathan was so incredible! He was so nice and extremely accommodating. My god was he an incredible cook as well, and it was very affordable! Though I wish breakfast was until 9:30 to be more flexible because it was so good! And his father was so kind! The pool was beautiful and overall the property is gorgeous. Despite being a little pricy overall (which, given the views, hospitality, and Samara prices is understandable), the roads up were unpaved and pretty difficult. You absolutely need a 4x4.

off property construction, which was absolutely not the inns fault at all, just made it difficult to feel fully well rested!

Great cooking and lovely view

Nathan and his family welcomed me very warmly and supported me in many ways. The view was just amazing. Breakfast was great too. This was my best stay in Costa Rica.

Perfect stay, wonderful location, breathtaking view and super kind and helpful hosts! Nathan welcomed us and cooked a superb dinner. The breakfast is fantastic and very varied. Even when we forgot to order it, Nathan was super nice and made us something last minute. He also gave us a lot of advice on where to go and what places to visit. He and his family were really nice! The room was very clean and spacious. The pool and outdoor kitchen are beautiful and everything is very clean. Thank you Nathan & family, we loved to stay at your amazing place.
