"beautiful views, friendly staff"

new, spacious rooms with balconies and a breathtaking view. nathan and his family were very helpful, super friendly and easy going. i felt very comfortable and welcome there and would come again at any time.

everything perfect if you prefer to stay a little outside and away from the noise of samara. it may be helpful to have a car with 4-wheel drive to get there.

Breakfast was very good, especially changed every day. The owners even offered special tea for my wife who had digestion problems. Very supportive owners. They were always helpful and e.g. showed us the place where we could watch Howler Monkeys.

- Great, super friendly host Nathan and assistant Josue (who also offers photography services) - Exceptional dinner (fresh, grilled tuna) and breakfast - best food we had in our whole trip through Costa Rica.. Try it! - we received many helpful tipps from Nathan for the local area and Costa Rica in general - very modern, spotless clean rooms with plenty of space and comfortable king-size bed - Awesome sea view from pool and the bungalow's terraces)

Goregous, tranquil place with a stunning view! The hosts are really welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were very nice and spotless. Overall, an excellent experience!

Narrow road on the way up, but easily made it with a 2x4.

The road is not easy for a car that has not 4x 4.

"5 stars for Las Estrellas de Samara!"

We had the loveliest three night stay at Las Estrellas de Samara. The lodge is a 10min drive from Samara up a dusty and windy road (you will need a 4x4 to access the property). Once at the top you will be greeted by the most amazing view over Playa Samara and Playa Carrillo. The individual lodges are modern, comfortable, spacious and clean. Our hosts, Jean-Luc and Paolo, ensured throughout our stay that we had everything we needed and went as far as offering that we borrow a hammock to take with us to the beach which was a nice touch. Breakfast is made to order every morning - absolutely delicious (in particular the French crepes made by Jean-Luc himself).
