Kates Farm Bed and Breakfast

Kate welcomed us and advised about local dog walks. We really enjoyed meeting her, sharing some food and wine. The sitting room with leather sofas and wood burning stive was a wonderful space to relax and watch TV after a long drive.

Kate was such a lovely host and super welcoming to myself and my dog. Sadly due to the heating in my room not working, and having only a little electric heater that kept sparking at me, it was absolutely freezing in my room. The surrounding fields and surrounding acres did mean absolutely beautiful walks during the day though!

If you like the reassurance of the type of accommodation you find at a Premier Inn or Holiday Inn then this is not the place for you. But if you want something a bit offbeat where your children can relax and have fun and you are prepared to chat to other guests and to your host Kate then Kates Farm House will make you feel very welcome. Its situated in a lovely rural spot well away from the holiday beaches and crowded car parks so its great at the end of the day to come back to and relax. Some may find it a bit dated but the house has a lot of character so don't expect clinical and 5 star and you wont be disappointed. Our grandchildren aged 5 and 8 loved it.

Lovely stay, very friendly, clean catered for food allergies

Very pleasant 4 night stay! Kate is lovely, friendly and helpful. We had the small family room which was nice and comfortable. Not en suite, but has a private bathroom almost opposite across the landing. Great breakfasts! Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Kates bed and breakfast is very good value for money. It has character and great scenery. Kate is very helpful nothing seems too much trouble. Very friendly and helpful.

Good overall stay...misunderstanding sorted and then no worries..good wholesome full English breakfast.....

Kate was a lovely host, very welcoming and friendly, felt instantly 'at home'. A beautiful quirky old farmhouse, comfy beds, fab breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
