"Lovely location. Calm, quiet and cosy. The owner is lovely"

10.0

Incredibly quiet. I really really liked the location. The rooms were spacious. I never heard any of the other guests. The house has plenty of character. But for me how calm and quiet it was was the best quality

There was nothing I didn’t like

"Relaxing, isolated place from urban cities. Great for a solo trip."

10.0

Loreta was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. Everything was clean, and had a vintage style to the room. There were a variety of books to recommend what to do around seascale and Cumbria, which I thought was very helpful. A dining room which had a mini fridge, cutlery, coffee, cereal, milk etc.

Not the property, but the village itself seascale is remote to it is a bit difficult to move around without car, as the trains are often delayed or even cancelled.

"Wonderful Stay with Stunning Sea View at The Westcliff"

9.0

I had a fantastic stay at The Westcliff. The room was exactly as described — spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The highlight was, without a doubt, the breathtaking sea view, which I enjoyed every morning and evening. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The atmosphere was peaceful, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. Loreta, the host, was welcoming, friendly, and always quick to respond, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish. I would highly recommend The Westcliff to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing seaside escape, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

"My new favourite place."

9.0

The location was fantastic overlooking the sea. The property was spotless, the bedroom was spacious with a very comfy bed and clean bathroom.

The only option for breakfast was cereal. There is a cafe down the road that opens at ten. The only place serving evening meals is the fab chippy 'salt', but it gets incredibly busy. All other establishments require driving out of the village. Its not a bad thing but just thought it was worth mentioning.

Beautiful Victorian hotel with a stunning view over the sea. We got the seaview room which was spacious, very well furnished and perfect for a romantic getaway. Everything was clean. The owner was really friendly and available, she offered us a late check in with no problem.

Only the bed was uncomfortable for us, really hard.

"Cosy, comfy, clean"

10.0

It was simple, comfortable, and clean. Loreta was lovely and communicated in advance about what to expect in the town and in the hotel. The hotel itself was nicely decorated and the room had a lovely view over the sea. I loved sitting in the garden on the clifftop.

Everything was great.

"Very good"

8.0

Very nice place, with no breakfast availability but fantastic views. There was a dining room that we could use for having our food, also provided with microwave but no place where to put the dirty dishes/etc so I had to take them to the room. Otherwise, helpful stuff, great place to disconnect. Rooms are dreamy with sea view and really calm area to disconect.
