Matlacha Tiny Village- Iguana

This place is super cute and fun to stay at. It's in a great location with all the cool little shops and dining right there. We had a little glitch with the check in instructions but the owners were very responsive and I only had to wait a few minutes. I highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

Matlaca is a beautiful little town. It feels so old Florida. Everything is in walking distance from these tiny homes which are so cute and so adorable. Everything was ready for us upon our arrival. We ate at the blue dog restaurant, which was one block away, walking distance, and also the perfect cup…. Perfect cup has the most amazing coffee and incredible crab Benedict…. Blue Dog has some incredible food. Everything from the best cooking shrimp I’ve ever had to fresh fish great service definitely coming back to all these places, including the tiny house.

Loved the location and the common area where we met and hung out with others that were staying there.

Living room furniture in Bldg 5 wasn’t very comfortable, but I understand that the location was just recently purchased by the new owner who hasn’t had time to do much with it - my suggestion? Seating where you can put your feet up and relax!

Loved being on the water and the ability to walk to great food.

Internet was out, the listing stated kayaks were available and there were not. It’s listed as soundproof, it was not. There was so much road noise and we could hear the neighbors in their tiny house next to us. There’s no storage or place to put hanging clothes so they have to be pilled on the floor.

Cute house. Watch out for the really low ceiling in the loft bedroom! Funky, fun area which seems to be slowly but surely recovering from hurricane damage. Traffic is dense due to construction/repair crews. Had a great meal at the Blue Dog Bar just down the street.

It was a convenient location to restaurants, shops and pine island. We enjoyed our stay in the tine house and would stay again.

It is clean and well organize!
