Matlacha Tiny Village- Iguana

Excellent one night stay. The tiny house was super cute and very clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed this place along with the canal, and outdoor sitting areas. It is adorable! I chose to book here bc the listing said that a kayak was included. That is what I wanted to do daily. They didn't replace the kayaks after the hurricane, so the lisiting should be updated online. I understand the hurricanes really messed up the area, but there has been enough time to update the rental listing since then. There are places in town and around the area to rent kayaks from, but I am on a budget so renting a place that said a kayak was included was my way to save and have the convenience walking out the door and jumping into a kayak each day. I would have chosen a diff. place to rent had I known this detail, in advance to be able to cancel the reservation. All in all a nice place to stay :)

Location was good. We appreciated the dock space especially since we had the unit closest to the water. It was cute.

Was noisy because of traffic. Space was lacking certain basics - sponge, napkins. Would have been good to have lamp in the loft. Needed more instructions for check out unit use overall and use of conduction stove. Linens needed to be requested and response time was not great. Didn’t receive correct entry code when we arrived.

Although the tiny home is cute it definitely isn't functional as you must crawl on your hands and knees to get to your bed, the futon type couch in living space is very uncomfortable, traffic is super loud and crazy busy. Construction up the road was very noisy and not very relaxing and trying to find the location in the dark is pretty difficult as no lights outside showing homes and address. The air unit in the upper loft did not have a remote so inable to use and when communicating to owners and care takers I didnt get a response or any help.

We couldn't get in, your code didn't work, tried several times, call the manager Karen, no response, finally got fed up standing in the heat trying to get in, left to go home. Sorry it didn't work out! Will not be trying to book with you folks again!

The villa was infested with cockroaches, they got into our food, it was noticeable that they didn't change the sheets on the beds.

Charming little area and who doesn't love staying in a tiny home? Good communication from the property management staff prior to arrival. Easy access to my accommodations with parking right outside my door. My place was cute, comfortable and well stocked with everything I needed during my stay. Loved the vibrant colors of the entire island and was charmed by my time here!

Everything was great, no complaints.
