"Loved our stay"

We had a lovely stay wished we'd booked for longer. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped loved the jacuzzi bath and it's in a fantastic location. It's a short walk to the Dam surrounded by restaurants, cafes and pubs. We had a really nice meal in a Italian restaurant on the Dam.

Nothing we didn't but the stairs are very steep, we'd have liked a hand rail or handled on the stairs to grab. Also the lights in the master bedroom and bathroom flicker

We liked how warm, cozy and comfortable the property was. The kitchen facilities were excellent, the house layout was charming and delightfully quirky. We very much enjoyed our short stay, and enjoyed watching the chickens.

The parking was a little awkward on the street, but unavoidable.

it was cosy and location was excellent. Beautiful walk close by and plenty of pubs and restaurants to chose from.

unfortunately the beds were not comfortable. My son slept in the single bed and felt like he was going to fall out and didn’t sleep very well. other that everything was okay.

Really clean and heating system was really efficient so accommodation was at a comfortable temp quickly after arrival. Very clean and welcoming. Good walkable pub/restaurants if you didn’t want to cook.

Lightning needs upgrade. Bulbs were flickering upstairs especially in bathroom and main bedroom. Parking not ideal and very dark pathway down to property.

Great place very quiet and fantastic value for money! I'm from the local area and Newmillerdam is about as a desirable area as there is in wakefield lots of great walks / pub restraunts within a short distance. I stayed for a month with no issues , bed comfortable and hojse warmed up really quick if it got cold. Highly recommend.
