Lovely place, and we had everything we needed for a short getaway. It was clean, well presented, warm, and easy to find with details from the owner. The water was hot, heating was easy to use, and rooms were warm. Had clean bedding, clean towels, and enough towels are three people. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, we didn't cook, only eggs for breakfast, but there was everything needed to cook.

Not a complaint but something to be mindful of. A small table and chairs would have been nice to eat on, in the living room, mainly for smaller children. Used the jacuzzi bath. It looks like it hadn't been used in a while as there was old water in the pips and made the first bath dirty when putting the jacuzzi on. We had to empty run another bath, which wasn't ideal as it is big and took a while to empty and re-fill.

"It hit all the right notes of a complete chilled time, in a cute cottage."

8.0

It was a lovely cosy cottage. In walking distance of newmiller dam, and great restaurants. A great place to relax.

It had lots of little extras in the kitchen showers etc. so I didn’t have any major things to dislike.

The Cottage is very cute and is very clean, a few handy breakfast items were supplied. Comfortable double bed and good shower. Lounge area comfy. Nicely equipped kitchen. Good TV and DVDs etc. There is a garden table and chairs outside for nice weather. The location is in a lovely area near a Country Park. Is more more suitable for younger to middle age couples on their own or with a child/children.

Very limited (free) parking on the narrow road is very challenging. No other parking available nearby. Rough pathway down to cottage challenging for elderly (in our group) & infirm. The stairs in the cottage are not suitable for elderly or infirm, no handrail. The second beds mattress more suitable for younger people/ children. The bathroom needs a bit of attention to the metal trim on the skirting as It could catch someone's leg. The Re-cycling bins need a bit of sorting for those guests who like to be clean and orderly etc.

The location was ideal for local restaurants/pubs, walking and the Sculpture Park and Barbara Hepworth museum

The lack of sofa bed as advertised. This was a fold out bed.

"Good location, but not good value for money"

6.0

Good location, easy to access house and local area

The house smelt of stale cigarette smoke, especially in the living room which was unpleasant. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The heating was set to 16.5°c which was chilly and there were instructions not to touch the heating settings
