Location to the beach

Fridge set to max but didn’t keep the food cold. Would be good to have somewhere to wash the sand off.

The property is well located to the bay. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment which certainly doesn’t have any bay views in fact the majority of the windows are frosted so people in other properties can’t see in. There is a smell, a really pungent horrible garlic/ curry/ damp smell as you enter the property and it didn’t leave. The bathroom despite being an apartment has a caravan style bathroom and over the 3 days the damp smell in there became worse. There is no soundproofing from the property above. Those in the apartment above us had a small child who ran the full length of the apartment up and down until around 11pm at night. Then when we got to bed and about to drift off to sleep the people upstairs went to the toilet and we could hear everything! Everytime he went for a wee, how long the wee was and the frequency, not to mention the toilet being flushed. Therefore, the amount of sleep we received was minimal. Thank goodness the weather was good as we literally slept and showered in the property. It was depressing to return to it each day. If you are looking for something cheap and cheerful no frills/ student type property then this will be ok. We felt that it is a poorly done flip. cheaply don’t, damp painted over and issues not being addressed. Very disappointing.

Some of the decor was a little tatty; could have done with a lick of paint in some areas. No plug socket by a mirror so drying hair was awkward. No ledge in the bathroom shower.

My fault as I should have asked for ground floor but the steps were steep for a group that included 2 oaps & and arthritic person!

This location is absolutely ideal, just a stone's throw away from the beach. The house is impeccably well-kept and inviting.

Unfortunately, on the day of our arrival, we were expecting to use the hot tub, but it wasn't switched on. We had to wait until the following day to use it, which was a big disappointment, especially for the kids.

The location is great as you are so close to the beach and restaurants. everything you need is in walking distance from the apartment.

the apartment could of been a bit cleaner as you are paying for a cleaning service in the price, eg, I had to clean some of the pans before use and the surface of the table in the dining room needed a good wipe down, just worth a check if the last person has cleaned them properly and not just put them away with a quick wipe, Also there was a strange smell of garlic when you sat on the sofa and we couldn't get rid of the smell with the air fresheners that i purchased, so not sure if someone previous has spilt something and it has got under the cushions. The shower unit was a tad bit small could be better as you are a bit squashed and felt a bit closed in. The bedroom with the mirror could be arranged different as I couldn't see any sockets next to it so it made it a bit difficult when you came to drying and styling your hair. Now the good points, spacious good layout, close to the beach, restaurants and very quiet and the beds where very comfy. Plenty of room to park your car.

Good scenic location

A very disappointing holiday. The apartment was the worst holiday let we have experienced in 30 years:- Unable to obtain key collection details before arrival. Owners didn’t respond. Poor directions so unable to locate property on arrival Cramped accommodation. Hardly any room on both sides of double bed. No bed side tables for a reading light. Only one reading light in bedroom Wi-Fi kept cutting out. External staircase to enter Property is exposed to the weather and questionable safety to guests with mobility issues.
