Holly Lodge

It is a spacious Victorian property completely in character with the surrounding spa village. Relaxed feeling in the house. Breakfast lovely with a good choice including delicious honey from the garden hives. Friendly staff including the owner who was present at breakfast.

Eigenaresse hebben we niet gezien. Toen we arriveerden stond een mapje met sleutel aan de voordeur. We moesten a.d.h.v. plattegrond onze kamer zoeken. Onze kamer voldeed absoluut niet aan onze verwachtingen. Ik had 2 kamers geboekt voor dezelfde prijs, maar de andere kamer was veel luxer met een prachtige badkamer

The property was very much in fitting with the town, very old Victorian style. Very clean and comfortable bed. Rosie made our stay, she was so lovely and friendly, often chatting to us at breakfast and giving us recommendations. She is a great asset to the team and we want to say thank you for her hospitality.

The breakfast could have had a bit more of a variety such as pastries and the produce on the hot food menu didn’t appear or taste like high quality farm products as stated.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Holly Lodge sehr genossen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Es wurde auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

Great place with plenty of Scottish charm. Loved the 4 poster bed and view from our window. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. We will be back! Thanks!

La struttura è molto carina e le camere sono belle ampie, letto grande in confronto soprattutto a quelli che trovi in giro. Bella doccia, stanza super pulita, cuscini, tappeti tende tutti super puliti. Ci sono anche saponi e altre amenities. La colazione stupenda, sia per la quantità e qualità dei prodotti (da provare il loro miele e la Marmellata di arance e whiskey) sia per la possibilità di scegliere il tavolo condiviso, dove, in 4 colazioni, abbiamo conosciuto persone da tutto il mondo. Il posto è particolare, un piccolo villaggio con un accenno di stile tedesco, molto silenzioso e tranquillo ma con molti locali in cui cenare e, soprattutto, ben instradato verso le highlands settentrionali, trovandosi già comodi fuori da Inverness che, però, dista solo una mezzoretta volendola visitare. Che altro dire, la cuoca e la padrona di casa sono due persone gentilissime. Lo consiglieremo a tutti

Praticamente nulla. Se proprio bisogna dire, non effettuano il passaggio di pulizie a meno che uno non lo chieda, ma, come dicevo, essendo tutto molto pulito, non è quasi neanche servito.
