"Fabulous Cottage. Fabulous hosts ☺️😊"

10.0

Clean, cosy, peaceful location, well equipped. Safe parking.Next door to the Donkey Sanctuary. Milk , tea, fudge and lovely chocolate biscuits provided. Thank you ☺️ Kind, helpful and very considerate hosts. Definitely recommend.

We were not aware when we booked that we had to have £1 coins to feed the electricity meter. The hosts advised us of this a few days before our holiday. Good to have enough coins to top up, - not a problem as we had plenty of coins to top up the meter and the hosts kindly left us a fully loaded meter on arrival.

Very cosy and quiet and the perfect location for the donkey sanctuary. Lovely walks nearby and close to Sidmouth. Hosts very helpful. Already booked for our next visit.

"Disappointing"

4.0

The linen was clean & fresh. The bedrooms were adequate & fairly comfortable.

Hot water almost non existent. TV reception very poor. Oven & cookware not clean. Bad odour from shower drain & kitchen sink. Chalet very tired and outdated site facilities very poor, not at all what we were expecting for a holiday village. Grounds outside of Chalet were very untidy, trees and shrubs were so overgrown there was nowhere to sit in the sun. The site facilities were non existent, no laundrette or shop the whole site was very run down and unwelcoming.

Bray cottage was like home from home. An amazing place to stay. There was some groceries already got us which made the start of our stay so much more relaxed.

Nothing it was super.

"It does the job but expensive for what it is and won't be staying again."

5.0

Beds were very comfortable, colour scheme is less jarring in person that the pictures may look. Oven works well. Owners friendly.

Cobwebs on saucepans and colander, cutlery, plates, oven trays all dirty. Freezer section of fridge so frozen over it doesn't work properly. Fridge only large enough to support a couple for a few days or a family for 2. Everything is about 10 years out of date. Mould on shower curtains, curtains etc. More ornaments than they can keep clean.
