Dawsons Game Lodge

All meals were excellent, lots of choice and all cooked to order. Location is outstanding. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Log fire in room was really nice, especially in the evening. All in all Dawsons is a place of exceptional quality.

Msoni is an excellent front of house staff member, well supported by his friendly team. Everything seems to run more smoothly and be a total pleasure when he's on duty. Food is lovely - country hotel finest. There is a lot of attention to detail and forethought in the decor and appointment of the rooms and general areas which is appreciated. The farm is really beautiful and it's a pleasure to relax here.

The walking routes shown in the room folder maps could be better marked on the ground in reality.

Amazing facilities - beautiful lodge and very friendly and responsive staff. The location is amazing, and the lodge is kept to the best possible standards , it deserves 5 stars.

The food was superb! Staff friendly and helpful! We loved the fireplace in the room. All the extra touches like bath salt, sherry and turn down service. We loved every minute

Our room was a cold once the fire died in the night. Our heater wasn’t working and we did report it.

Great location for us. Very helpful staff - managed to courier items we left behind to the accomodation we requested they be sent to.... Very peaceful location

Our cabin / lodge was quite dark - not a huge problem for us as we lit a fire and used our headtorches but worth noting there is not much light.....
