The Lodge was very clean throughout. Warm and comfortable. Angie was very accommodating when I wasn't able to gain access. And even more accommodating by allowing us a later exit than stated(Thanks Very Much). Everything was catered for from start to finish. The welcome hamper was also a lovely welcome touch. One of the most Home from Home stays we have experienced in a long time. Many thanks and look forward to revisiting!!!

The Lodge had everything you needed, loved the location, beautiful surroundings with lovely walks. Short stay over the weekend, could've stayed longer. Good food & drink in the cafe and the Inn. Would recommend ☺️

Fantastic lodge is as described, and we did really look forward to our stay, HOWEVER......

We were informed in our pre-arrival email that due to power loss a generator was installed close by emitting a low hum. Upon arrival it was clear to see and hear this was not the case and infact a large diesel powered unit was extremely close to the lodge. Not only loud but exhaust gases were entering the lodge. Immediately informed the owner who seemed as surprised as ourselves. Long story short, after a lot of issues moving to another unit that had no heating, we got advice about raising a complaint. Now our complaint is against the park, not the lodge owner, but we're advised to seek a refund from the owner, and in turn, the owner would seek to redeem from the park. Sounds simple enough. However, the owner refused to issue a refund and become very defensive stating we accepted free meals etc, which we never, they were offered but we refused. Now stuck and looking to take matters further. Really dont know why the owner didn't get behind us, as was clearly not her fault, really would like to know if shoe was on other foot how she would have felt. So yes a fantastic place to stay but just hope nothing goes wrong for you as owner won't care.

The property was lovely and had everything you needed and it was comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the property at its full advantage due to the park having a electric problem which meant the lodge had no electric so we had to move out so we were only there for two nights with everything working which should have been seven. The situation couldn’t have been helped and we just had to make the best of it having said that I would return to the lodge. It really is very nice and the location is good.

A beautiful lodge in a great location. It had everything we needed for a week with the added bonus of passes for the onsite leisure facilities.

Property quiet, with good facilities - 2 restaurants and pool.

The property shows the lovely covered deck, but exaggerates the view which is mostly the cottage next door. Trimming some shrubbery or trees would greatly expand the view. No sun ever hits the deck.

Very clean and well decorated property. Host very considerate.
