B&B A Casa dei Nonni

We loved our quaint breakfast and everything was very comfortable. The bed and bathrooms were great and the check-in process was very smooth. The host answered us quickly and helped us into our stay efficiently. We were happy to eat our breakfast with an open window and a view:)

The location was far from most of the sightseeing to walk and the parking was difficult as we brought a vehicle.

The host was very friendly and helped us out pointing out where best to park (which even in the offseason was tricky). We only stayed for one night as a stop inbetween Palermo and Taormina and had a good night of sleep with all of the required things provided.

The breakfast was minimalist as other reviewers have pointed out but this was not a major issue for us for the cost of the room.

Bagno un po' piccolo ma ben fatto

Alle 13:20 ho effettuato la prenotazione. Alle 15:00 mi sono recato in struttura per effettuare il check-in, ma non c'era nessuno. Ho provato a contattarli telefonicamente per oltre 30 minuti, inviando anche un messaggio WhatsApp, ma senza ricevere alcuna risposta. Non sapendo come procedere alle 15:38 ho chiamato l'assistenza di Booking chiedendo se potessero contattare loro il b&b per avere un riscontro. Solo alle 15:55 la titolare si è presentata, peraltro visibilmente infastidita e arrabbiata, rimproverandomi perchè avevo coinvolto booking. Trovo inaccettabile un'accoglienza del genere, con un atteggiamento ostile nei confronti di un cliente che aveva semplicemente cercato di ottenere informazioni. Un esperienza davvero spiacevole che non mi sento di consigliare.
