Enjoy Luxor

The host Ahmed was very kind and accomodating. I visited in June where it is an off peak season. Due to this, renovations around the building were taking place. Ahmed wanted to move my room to a suite rather than the original double room that I had booked but it was not an issue for me, but it is a note as to how he wanted to improve my stay despite the inconvenience of renovations happening outside my room. Luxor is incredibly hot during the daytime in the summer (over 40 degrees), so Ahmed asked if i needed anything like water or food as to avoid walking around outside. He also got hibiscus flowers for me so that i can avoid being upcharged as a tourist. Breakfast was offered. There was an AC unit and a ceiling fan in the room. If you are on the floor that do not include suites, there is a shared fridge and kitchen space outside of the room. I stayed for 2 days at a reasonable price.

Incredibly hot, AC was at times blowing hot air, this was my own fault for visiting during the hot season. There was hot water from the shower even though I asked for it to not be turned on 😅. Some of the sheets had marks on it but this was quickly replaced when made aware.

Hot water and clean beds. I like how big the place is.. the breakfast was great and the owners are nice.

It is a bitter far from the city center.

I had a great stay at Enjoy Luxor. Ahmed, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and treated me like family from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean and had a really nice balcony. The WiFi was good. The homestay facilities were clean. I also felt very comfortable and safe staying here. The Egyptian breakfast prepared by the Ahmed’s son was delicious and a great way to start the day - best falafel I’ve had in Egypt! Ahmed and his team also helped arrange a trustworthy, reasonably priced driver to visit local archeological and cultural sites, which made getting around Luxor easy and stress-free. Ahmed really went above and beyond to make sure I had an excellent time in Luxor. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend Enjoy Luxor to anyone visiting the city.
