We were met by the owners father on arrival which was great. He let us in but didn't explain anything other than that the parking was an extra $7 Euros. We then found that... The toilet seat was broken and hanging off We couldn't light the gas stove The door was extremely heavy to open and close- my very fit lady partner could not move it We could hear the owner's TV (who lives upstairs) through the common doorway that led to a joining stairway. Cigarette smoke came through the cracks around the stairway door all evening. Shower head came off and the screw to hold the arm straight could not be tightened. No grab rails to get into or out of the bath for a shower. The TV could not get any channels. I text the owner as soon as we noticed the gas wasn't on, the broken toilet, TV didn't work and the stuck door. Her response was that yes shew knew about all of that and the previous guest had broken the toilet and door and that the TV needed a new control box. Why she, or her father never told us before or when we first arrived I don't understand? (Perhaps she was just hoping we wouldn't say anything?) She also then told us that the gas had a switch underneath in the cupboard but by that time we had already gone out to eat. We understand that things get broken but replacing the toilet seat, TV box and making sure we knew about the gas switch could have easily be done before we arrived. Her attitude was not helpful..if anything slightly aggressive. She said they were simple things and that we were making a fuss about "stupid" things. We had just spent 4 weeks touring Italy and stayed in some fantastic places..ALL of which were cheaper per night than this accommodation. Even with everything working, now that I have actually seen the size of the room abd facilities, I would not stay there. I do NOT normally write reviews nor complain but this was extremely disappointing and a very sad way to finish our brilliant holiday.

Very clean, the lady owner is very nice and helpful, she even gave us some pastries for breakfast. Great place, highly recommend!

The only negative thing i can say is the shower courtain is not very comfortable, but That is just a minor thing.

The only nice thing was that we made lot of jokes about how bad it was. So we had a good time with that.

Unfortunately I don't recommend. Apartment was super expensive and it was just a bad furnitured, old room. We needed to be super quiet, fast with questions. Lady wanted extra money even for parking a car on her property. My friends felt a lot of bad energy and we're afraid, that the owner any time would enter to house from the direct door. We heard a few times to be more quiet, even though we were super quiet ;(
