Domus Venere

Spacious for a family of 5. Easy walking distance to the town centre and ruins. Just beside the train track but trains didn't run over night (or we slept very well and didn't hear them 😁). Free parking near the apartment which was much appreciated. Very helpful host.

La propiedad tiene una excelente ubicación, en un barrio tranquilo pero muy cerca de todo. Se puede llegar caminando hasta las ruinas de Pompeya y al centro. El departamento es amplio, luminoso y cuenta con una hermosa terraza desde donde se ve el Vesubio. Aunque el tren pasa cerca, no se escucha el ruido, ya que las habitaciones están al otro extremo; al menos yo no lo percibí. La propietaria, Claudia, y su compañero Eduardo fueron muy amables, siempre atentos y disponibles por WhatsApp, respondiendo al instante y brindando muy buenas recomendaciones para las excursiones. Me encantó el barrio: tiene carnicerías, bares, mercados y todo lo necesario para disfrutar la estadía con comodidad, todo a pocos pasos. Nos sentimos muy a gusto.

Claudia is a wonderful caring host!!! The Apt was super clean..the location was fastastic!! I Highly recommend of you are coming to see the Pompei Ruins!! I had wonderful meals in town! Supermarket was around the corner! I will say again Claudia is a super host!! We adore the train noise so soothing! :)

Claudia and Eduardo are great hosts, Eduardo met us at the apartment and explained everything. Theres a fantastic private roof terrace with a front row view of Vesuvius, lovely at night with some wine and pizza 😁. 5 minutes walk to the train station and bus connections to Pompeii ruins. 10 minutes walk to a great selection of restaurants and not just pizza.😆 We spent 5 days and wished for longer

There was nothing really to dislike, unless you count the 2 day train strike that made our arrival a bit awkward but that was beyond our control🙁

The pillows felt too big and hard to sleep on. But that is only personal and someone maybe likes it

Very clean, brilliant location, perfect space and also great air con for the very hot weather (even for Pompeii)
