Blue Ocean Resort

Great stay at Blue Ocean Resort – excellent service and atmosphere. Clean room, stunning views, and top-notch amenities. Our stay at Blue Ocean Resort was an unforgettable experience; the rooms were spacious and clean, with amazing views.We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

The resort is of a small scale with only six rooms. The hostess is very friendly and speaks proper English. Rooms are spacious and clean. Swimming pool with view on the beach is perfect. The breakfast is a proper good breakfadt,bit not spectaculair.

The location is rather remove, which for one day was okay. Some details/stuff in the hotel are a bit outdated and should be refurbished. Especially for a 5-star hotel. Like missing or not wofking light-bulbs and outdated chairpillows. Nonetheless, the price was very much in line.

Amazing location as the property was in beach front, with a little gate giving access to the beach. Due to being low season we are the only guest but the quality of the stay was not impacted, and the host was amazing. Swimming pool is modern and it was clear even if it was just for us. The room was clean , spacious and air conditioning was powerful. We recommend the local breakfast with sea view. Lunch and dinner was not possible during our stay but host recommended us 'Priya Moon Cafe and Seafood Restaurant' located 500m away and it was so good we came back during the second night.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Our child loved the pool. The beach in front of the hotel was not crowded at all. Although the waves were quite rough for swimming.

We only had cold water from the shower, but the weather was so warm so it really didn't bother us that much.

Beautiful place right on the beach. Quiet and serene, just what I needed for a couple of days after hectic travels. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food both for breakfast snd dinner was very tasty. I will definately stay here again if I come back to Tangalle.

Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.

Just a heads up that waves are always huge in that area and difficult to swim, but on the other hand - it is thrilling.

Beautiful big room, with sounds of the ocean. Nice swimming pool and direct access to really quiet beach. Modern bathroom and nice balcony.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned when we arrived, there were still soap bottles from the previous guests and hair in the drain. It was cleaned once we mentioned this ofcourse. One time we couldn't order cocktails because there was only one employee (I think the owner) who could make them and she wasn't there. The other time it took 30 minutes to make them. Some beach furniture could be fixed or replaced, the options were a bit limited. Also 3% fee for payment with cards, which we never encountered at restaurants or petrol stations. We just expected a little bit more for a resort and these prices.

Located directly at the beach and very calm. The beach is great and peaceful. The Hotel has only 6 rooms and is run by a small family. They are very kind and try to do their best to help out and make you have a good time.

The bathroom could be equipped better and the balcony seats could use some cleaning. Apart from that everything is great if you want to be out of the crowded touristic area further west.
