Cambria Hotel Boston Downtown - Seaport

I have no bathroom door. Seriously. See the photo. That wasn't the first surprise I encountered here, I also learned that the restaurant, bar, and rooftop lounge were all "temporarily" closed. There's a continental breakfast consisting of hard boiled eggs and a few pre-packaged muffins. Really? Now, the bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the temperature well maintained by the HVAC unit, internet was fine, shower was great with plenty of hot water... And there's a great view from every room...but every room is a dorm room, not a high-end hotel room. There's nowhere to put your luggage, there's one lousy chair and something resembling a TV tray, and the desk space is pie shaped. End of rant. I will say that Sunny at the front desk is extraordinarily helpful and does his best to apologize on behalf of the lackluster management. I don't think they're reading these reviews, but hopefully you do. Stay away unless all you need is a good night's sleep and a quick walk to the Broadway T station (over which this hotel was built).

The location is great. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean.

I wish they had robes & slippers. I was disappointed the bar and restaurant wasn't open.

Rooms are small. Good hospitality. Breakfast is basically nothing. Overpriced food and gifts. Close to train. Noise isnt an issue. Big workout room.

We were in Boston for the weekend for a friends wedding. We had a wonderful stay. Room was immaculately clean. Very comfy beds and a pretty awesome view too. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

This hotels website grossly misrepresents the amenities available. There is no longer a restaurant, bar or rooftop terrace. The webiste still notes that these amenities are present and they are not. We chose this hotel for those amenities. The hotel is not close to tourist sites and the neighborhood is not necessarily safe so not having these spaces available was disappointing. The breakfast was prepackaged muffins, dry bagels (no cream cheese) and english muffins. The room was very small with NO place to put your suitcase or drawers to unpack in. The shower was not hot. The elevator makes a clunking sound everytime you use it. The staff was not friendly.

Great hotel. Nice restaurant near. Close to mass transit. Staff is pleasant to work with. Clean and comfortable. Great trip
