Castle Kama'ole Sands

Nice and helpful staff at check in, we were able to check in a bit earlier as requested. The beach across the road is really nice. Nice location close to shops and restaurants. Well mantained gardens, pond and pool.

The apartment was not well cleaned, your feet will be "black" within minutes of walking barefoot. Renovations going on the neighbouring apartments meant work crew haning around and construction noises.

Location, enough space for 3 person, kitchen

The kitchen had lots of small insects everywhere. And also large cockroaches and a lizard.

Location and access to the beach was fantastic. Plenty of room for four + adults to enjoy and be comfortable.

Ceiling fans in apartment need cleaned more often.

The grounds are nice with flowing water and lots of grass and landscaping. The pool area has plenty of chairs and a couple of hot tubs (one for adults). Bonus for not charging extra for parking.

The unit we stayed in (5208) was quite dated. Everything but the appliances looked like they were purchased 25 years ago. Bed was very basic (think low end mattress). For some reason the showers were at a height good for someone 5 ft 5 inches and below. But I'm 6ft and I had to crouch way down to get my head...which was harder to do in the tiny shower without bumping the walls. My wife is 5-9 and she also had to crouch. But the most disappointing thing is a basic one that could have been avoided: the floors were dirty. I'm not talking a little sand on the floor, I'm talking make your white socks nearly black after an hour in the unit. We were being good guests and leaving our shoes off in the unit...until our feet and then our socks got super dirty. Then it was flip-flops on all the time.
