Middletown Farmhouse B&B

The house was beautiful. The village was charming, with a pub close to the B&B serving food. Nicky and Kevin, the hosts, were lovely. The beds were really comfortable, we slept very well. The breakfast was nice and there were a lot of options, especially considering they were being cooked on demand. It was well situated to go on walks in the Dartmoor. I would stay there again without hesitation.

I can't praise this property highly enough. It was my idea of a perfect B&B. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. My room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb, as was the cream tea awaiting me on arrival, and the packed lunch for the following day. The cottage, like the surrounding village was beautiful. The location was good for me - just a little tour off Eurovelo 1 cycle trail that I was following. My bike was locked securely in the garden shed.

The local pub is closed on Mondays, which meant no evening meal for a tired and hungry cyclist with no car. Not my hosts fault - but mine for not planning ahead.

What’s not to love? The B&B was spotless, comfy bed, great shower! The afternoon tea supplied was amazing, the scones were so light and fluffy.

The farmhouse and its setting are really beautiful.. The room was peaceful and comfortable. Nicky and Kevin were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The food was delicious. The local pub was also excellent for an evening meal and a lovely short stroll away. It was a beautiful introduction to Devon for us.

Beautifully restored traditional cottage.

It was all fine. Just a shame other properties have cars parked on the street.

Room was spacious and well appointed. Shower was great. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of options. Host was very welcoming. There is a nice pub about 2 mins away serving decent pub grub and has a nice atmosphere. The walk is well lit.

The room was cold if you wanted to relax without getting into bed but it's a 400yr old cottage so it's going to be drafty so bring something warm. Extra duvets were provided.
