Very comfortable room in attractive old thatched house. Very quiet setting with good pub for dinner 5 mins away. Host Nikki very friendly which when travelling solo is important. Lovely cooked to order breakfast and unusual home made preserves.

I liked everything! The village, proximity of a very good pub, my beautiful spacious room with all the facilities and impeccable cleanness, which was maintained every day. Breakfast freshly made by Nicky was just exceptional! The garden in the back yard was very pretty, and the driveway to park the car inside the property. I am so pleased with my stay and I am definitely staying there again when I visit the place again! Thank you very much Nicky, for your incredible hospitality!

This was our first stay in a house with a thatched roof - and it has to be said the property was immaculately presented, with a great blend of the new and the old. Modern facilities such as a new shower, but little aspects of the original design preserved too, and a very homely feel. Kevin and Nicky were lovely hosts, they made us feel welcome throughout. The cooked breakfasts were really nice, in particular the home-made black currant & butter jam went down well with my girlfriend! Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area. The New Inn pub is a few minutes walk away, which serves really nice food and good local ales. Would love to stay again when we next visit Devon :)
