Handy for visiting relatives and eating places next to hotel

Thought too expensive as i had to book the same day and next week the day before and instead of price being cheaper for last minute they seemed to hike price up

The rooms at the red squirrel are decent, clean and spacious and the check-in procedure was efficient and friendly. The location was great for us catching the ferry from Ardrossan the next morning and everything offered great value for money with breakfast included as well.
