Staff very good but room wasn’t clean …no cleaning done at all ….the bathroom was dirty. No soap in bathroom also same for the shower cream. Floor was dirty. Wasn’t nice, more care needs to be taken.

Had a 2 night stay. I'd originally only booked one but was not able to add a second night via the app, so made a separate booking. I contacted the hotel to explain at the beginning of November and was assured that it was all sorted, the bookings had been merged. Checked in - lady on reception said 'for 1 night' - no 2. Then room key stopped working after dinner. Dinner was nice, well cooked and good service. Room was clean and comfortable. Saturday went out in the morning, came back had a shower and was disturbed by housekeeping coming to clean the room 'because i should have checked out by now' - no i'm here for 2 nights as per email start of the month and conversation with reception yesterday. Saturday night dinner surf and turf/mixed grill. Mixed grill had different sausages to friday, chicken really dry. Surf and turf had to change the sauce after ordering and paying. No sauce with meal ordered as an extra, no tartare sauce which supposed to come with meal. Staff did not come to ask if everything ok until after meal eaten. Pointed out i'd paid for an extra sauce i never received, no offer of a refund. Pub like a creche with young children running around. Friday was much better than Saturday but would stay again.

Easy to find. Good parking.

The shower wasn’t working. So it wasn’t a good stay for us. There was no one in reception to tell that the shower wasn’t working but this may have been at 7 am, but as a working trip we couldn’t stay to wait.

Really enjoyed my stay I will definitely stay again

The manager in pub checked us in, had a fab explanation of everything. Even have room service of bar menu to your room.

Double bed was two twins put together, with hard ridge in the middle. Sink tap broken

VERY UNEVEN STEEP APROACH TO CHECK IN AT PUB ACCROSS THE CAR PARK FROM HOTEL REQUESTED A GROUND FLOOR ROOM ON TWO PREVIOUS VISITS & HAVE BEEN GIVEN UPSTAIRS ROOM (40) AT FAR END OF CORRIDOR. MY HUSBAND HAS MOBILITY PROBLEMS, SO FOUND THE STAIRS A REAL PROBLEM.
