Did not have warm water for 3 days.

Ok for one or two night, very tired rooms, no bed side cabinet or sockets next to bed. Really inconvenient if you have a CPAP machine. Rooms could do with makeover

Perfectly acceptable room and worth the price paid. Definitely more down the budget route. A mini fridge would be useful

Not very clean and needs a lot of maintenance to bring the room up to an acceptable standard.

We checked in after 10pm, the hotel is at the back of the pub. However we had to find someone at the pub to show check us in as no one was manning the reception area. We booked a twin room it was huge and clean. No charging points near beds. Toilet/shower clean and tidy. However we did have an issue with the bathroom sink tap of which we couldn't have fixed as no maintenance person on site for the weekend! Beds were very comfortable. No air con, however a standing fan was available. Food was reasonable. Staff were very polite and friendly. An issue with the keycard, when you left for the day you couldn't get back into your room in the evening and had to wait for a member of staff from the pub to re-issue your keycard to work again...frustrating and the member of staff said that it "keeps happening to guests" Hopefully they can sort this issue out! .

Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable rome

The hotel is situated in a great location, close to amenities and convenient for getting around. The room itself was comfortable, and the bed provided a good night’s sleep. However, the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Upon entering there was an unpleasant smell and closer inspection revealed hygiene issues such as hairs on the toilet and in the bathtub. More concerning were what appeared to be stains on the wall near the bath. As someone who always travels with cleaning wipes, I took the time to clean the surfaces myself and noticed significant soap scum, dirt along the tub, and mouldy sealant that clearly needed attention. It’s a shame as the rest of the room was quite decent. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance in the bathroom, this could be a much better experience overall.

Convenient as I was going to a funeral at the nearby crematorium
