Really nice and quiet stay . Comfy beds and soft pillows . Staff are a credit to the pub which is also homely and serves great food .

Ideal location and price

Have stayed here a few times now always clean and comfortable the only problems this time were one of the bolts had come loose on the toilet seat and if you wanted hot water from the bathroom tap to turn it far enough the pressure was so high you got soaked, good shower though plenty of hot water. The pub has been refurbished and is looking good we had the sunday carvery which was very good.

Staff very friendly, courteous, pleasant and professional. Comfortable room and bed, shower very good. Excellent dining options, well prepared, well served, reasonably priced and very tasty. Quiet surroundings, easy access. Door to bathroom impossible to close: out of alignment. Toilet seat needs securing properly. No chain on bath plug making it awkward to remove plug and empty water out after use. These can easily be remedied. Overall impression: - Very impressed. Will definitely stay again. Wasn't the worst but no service in reception u av to pub. Staff sound. Manager disrespectful.prices start low but go up longer I there. I think u can get breakfast but for eg continental u don't get buffet just 2 slice of toast, 2 croissants n yoghurt. No unlimited buffey like at last last hotel premier at Riverside Derby. Joke place that kingshighway

first rate room and first rate staff at reception and house keeping staff

Not worth the money the room, it smelt , hairs in shower , needed up dating so went home, paid for breakfast but still waiting to see if we can get a refund as never stayed at this property, disappointed.

Everything ok apart from breakfast. Looking forward to full breakfast as advertised only to be told we could only have Continental !!
