Parc y Bryn Serviced Apartments

Location parking apartment comfort all excellent. Easy access if and when a problem arose. Very quiet. This was our 6th booking within complex.

When the underfloor heating was turned off after we arrived a blip perhaps as it was warm when we arrived had to use the gas hob to warm sitting room, bathrooms bedrooms very cold. After a msg to manager the “problem” was rectified. Unfortunately for us we had to leave next day.

Clean and tidy accommodation with everything you need for a comfortable convenient stay.

Apartment was lovely and clean and spacious with 2 double bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped Easy walking distance to the town centre ( found a short cut only took 5 min). Would highly recommend

My only quibble would be the underfloor heating took what seemed like an age to warm the apartment but it was a particularly cold night when we arrived and as a norm wouldn't be an issue

The apartment was cold, on arrival the lounger underfloor heating was on and it was warm but the bedrooms and bathroom were like a fridge. We followed instructions and raised the temperature on the thermostats but it didn't heat. I contacted the owner on Saturday morning who admitted the apartment had been empty and that it would eventually heat up. On Saturday it was warmer but as we were only there for 2 days it didn't reach comfortable heat by the time we left. I would expect any apartment to be warmed prior to guest arriving and in the winter any place that had been empty to be fully warmed and aired.

I found the idea of a serviced apartment a loose definition. A check in at 6pm with earlier check in after a long journey on a Friday with each earlier hour costing £20 pounds puzzling and was that really necessary and exit before 10am quite early. Also having to get rid of rubbish outside means that you were part of servicing. Bagging up the rubbish was fine but it felt odd to dispose of apartment is serviced for the cost. These things detracted from the experience.

Property was very cold when we arrived 6pm check-in is very late Property had quite an amount of mould in bathroom and bedrooms (around windows and skirting boards) Doors very stiff Would have been nice to have some of the basic essentials (salt/pepper/sugar) like other properties that we have stayed in
