La gentilesse et l’hospitalité d’Omar et toute son équipe, toujours aux petits soins. De plus, la chambre était parfaitement propre et conforme aux photos avec une vue magnifique sur le Nil.

On the river and the room with balcony was large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and we liked the location on the quiet side of the river. There are terrible old reviews - ignore it has been completely renovated with new owner so is spotless and modern

Breakfast was ok, but in any case you can pop next door to an outdoor cafe/bar and eat quality Egyptian food fir nothing

La salle du petit déjeuner (et restaurant) est un peu en retrait derrière les baies vitrées. Gagnerait à être plus ouverte.

We stayed 6 nights at Nile Castle, and I would happily stay there again. If you are hesitating between staying on the East side or West side of Luxor, I was really glad I chose the West side. It is peaceful (but does have quite a few restaurants/shops), and you can easily get to the hussle and bustle of the East side with a short boat ride. Now for the Nile Castle hotel. First of all the view. Our room had a lovely balcony and windows with the most beautiful view of the Nile, and a direct view of the Winter Palace and Luxor Temple directly across. The hotel was spotless. The room was spacious, the shower was fantastic…strong pressure and very hot water. Sabri, his sons Adam and Yassine, and nephew Omar, as well as the rest of the team were so warm and welcoming, wanting make sure that all was good and if there was anything else they could do for us. At least a couple of times they went well beyond the call of duty in terms of looking after us (e.g. bringing up a cup of hot water with fresh lemon, ginger and honey when I had a cold).

After the chaos and intensity of Cairo, Nile Castle felt like the perfect place to relax. It was a true oasis of calm. The hotel has been recently renovated and looks beautiful and very welcoming. Our room was spacious, bright and well equipped, with a lovely balcony overlooking the Nile. Sitting there with a coffee and enjoying the view was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was good and served at the table in the restaurant downstairs. A very nice surprise was that the bathroom even had hair conditioner, which is not something you often find in hotels here. Adam, the manager, helped us book a hot air balloon ride for a better price than on websites like GetYourGuide, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The location is great – there are many good restaurants nearby, a small shop next door for water, snacks and essentials, and a promenade right in front of the hotel that is perfect for a walk along the Nile. You can also easily arrange a small boat to cross to the more lively side of Luxor. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for beautiful views, comfort and a relaxing atmosphere.

Das Essen war gut---Frühstück genauso wie das Abendessen. Zimmer sind okay. Frisch renoviert.

Wir haben ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoß gebucht ( Gesamte Wohneinheit im Erdgeschoss, ),mussten vor Ort aber feststellen das es im Erdgeschoß überhaupt keine Zimmer gab. Haben dann ein Zimmer auf der 3.Etage bekommen,ab den zweiten Tag auf der 1.Etage. Aufzug ist vorhanden ,aber funktioniert nicht----wie auch,der Rufknopf/Abholer ist überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Fakt ist,man bekommt nicht das was man gebucht hat. Personal: das Personal ist nicht von Urlaubern zu unterscheiden. Wäre nicht schlecht wenn das Personal einheitliche Kleidung tragen würde,damit man weiss wer zum Personal gehört. Respekt gegenüber den Gästen wäre auch nicht schlecht. Wenn einer (OMAR) an der Rezeption sitzt und mehr mit seinem Smartphone beschäftigt ist als mit seiner Arbeit, bei Fragen genervt ist weil er sich dann ja nicht seinem smartphone widmen kann,dann ist das schon mehr als Respektlos. Am letzten Tag sass dort ein ganze junger mann der mich ständig mit "brother" angeredet hat. Er war vielleicht 18 und ich bin mitte 60-----dieses verhalten ist ein absolutes NO GO. Auch wenn beide Söhne vom Besitzer sind,so ein Verhalten ist absolut indiskutabel. Das ganze Personal,bis auf 2 ausnahmen, sind ganz junge leute die wahrscheinlich auch zum ersten mal in der branche arbeiten und nicht angelernt wurden Wenn man das Hotel verlässt wird man sofort von den ganzen "verkäufern" belästigt, die taxi,tuktuk oder boote vermitteln wollen. die strasse vorm hotel ist nicht geteert und die ganzen fahrzeuge wirbeln den staub auf,den man dann auf dem Balkon hat----man sollte sich daher überlegen ob man überhaut ein zimmer mit balkon bucht Für mich war dieses Hotel ein Reinfall und sein Geld nicht wert.

Great location, the best view in Luxor

Our stay was very pleasant and everything went very well. The view from the room overlooking the Nile was absolutely beautiful and made the stay even more special. The breakfasts were also very good and offered a great start to the day. Above all, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Mohamed. He helped us twice to find a taxi and was an invaluable support during our stay. His kindness and willingness to help were truly appreciated. Thank you for the warm hospitality – we would be happy to stay here again.
