The Lantana

Hi, Just had a couple of days at The Lantana and thoroughly recommend it! The property itself is clean, well maintained, with modern decor and really convenient for the beach and harbour. Very attentive and friendly hosts, who made us feel welcome straight away and genuinely went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy and had everything that we need. Absolutely great full English breakfast!

Location very central, hosts very friendly and accommodating. Fabulous breakfast on the terrace area. Room clean and beautiful decorated. Lovely touch offered a beer on arrival 👌

We loved the warm welcome & the offer a of drink on arrival - we both had a lovely glass of wine. A treat after a long journey.. The room was a first floor with sea view & was stylish, sparkling clean & had an amazingly comfy bed. There was a plentiful hot drinks tray & an ample fridge. Breakfast was a highlight - the full cooked breakfast was delicious & generous , with plenty of other options such as pain au chocolat, cereal, yoghurt & toast. To be able to have breakfast outside on the lovely terrace, on the second day when the sun was shining, overlooking the harbour was absolutely wonderful. John & Sandra are such lovely hosts & have clearly put a lot of thought into all the details, & making guests comfortable & very welcome - we were particularly touched when a bottle of prosecco & chocolates appeared in our room after mentioning that it was a special wedding anniversary.. We look forward to returning - there are lots of places to stay but everything above, plus the perfect location neea the beach, town & harbour means we won't be looking anywhere else.

Excellent room overlooking the harbour.Sandra is a great cook with breakfasts ranged from a full English cooked to your own preferences to a bowl of fruit freshly made. Loved eating breakfast on the sun deck watching all the events going on in the harbour. So impressed we have already booked for next year.

Our stay at Lantana Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of spectacular. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a fantastic full English breakfast and other options available to suit everyone. What truly sets Lantana Bed and Breakfast apart is the dedication of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and were always available to offer recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Thanks to their insightful suggestions, we enjoyed some fantastic meals and explored the hidden gems of the area. If I could rate Lantana Bed and Breakfast higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would. It was a perfect experience, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a base to explore the region, this is the place to stay. We can't wait to return!
