The Lantana

John and Sandra made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them, we stayed in a very comfortable spacious room, beautifully decorated with lovely view of Weymouth bay and across the beach. Breakfast was perfect, a good choice, a delicious fresh fruit salad and the full english was freshly cooked to order using local produce.

We found nothing to dislike. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already made a booking for next year!

John and Sandra are fabulous! The B&B was in a great spot and we would go again!

Sandra and John went out of their way to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived; nothing was too much trouble. The room was fresh, clean and spacious, with a great view. The location was exceptionally close to both the wedding ceremony and reception venues, and an added bonus was the row-boat ferry (20 yards from the accommodation) across the harbour entrance to save the mile-long walk around. Breakfast was great.

Sandra and John are wonderful hosts, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It felt like staying with friends. They catered for my special diet with great care. I'm already looking forward to a return visit.

Absolutely nothing!!

From our first contact with the owners, to the location, the quality of the B&B, breakfast, accommodation, everything was outstanding. The B&B is in a great location, close to the beach, the quayside, the shops, pavilion, everything is within easy reach to walk to. The owners Sandra and John were fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay, offering us drinks on arrival, organising a permit for parking, recommending places to eat and drink and offering us flexibility for check in and breakfast. The B&B is decorated and furnished to a really high standard with small luxury touches in the room, i.e. lovely toiletries, high quality tea/coffee facilities, a fridge with complimentary water, a hair dryer, towels and beautiful bedding. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice including fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal, toast, pain au chocolat, as well as a traditional full english! There is also a lovely terrace for guests to use which overlooks the quayside, a beautiful calm place to sit and eat breakfast or have a drink in the afternoon and watch the world go by! We would definitely recommend this B&B.

Sandra and John were such fantastic hosts. They recommended places to us. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given a drink on arrival. It was our anniversary during our stay and when we went to back to our room after breakfast, there was a lovely surprise of a card and a bottle of Prosecco with 2 glasses which we enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the harbour! Lovely and clean b&b in a great location. We will be back!
