The house is a piece of living history..on a working farm, with a private church attached (visits encouraged). Room is large, 2 double beds with en suute bathroom. I'd describe it as "rustic". Your host is a gregarious, friendly and interesting woman who will happily explain the history to you. Breakfast is supplied with delicious home-made preserves. A wonderful experiece while travelling through France.

Superb host, beautiful old with a history and character building, delicious breakfast (creps and homemade jams), very comfortable beds. Great value for money - would definitely come back for a short break or when needs asleep on the long journey. Thank you & see you again :)

The houst was very friendly and the place had loads of history behind, used to be a monastery a long time ago! We had a lovely one night stay!

We chose to stay because of the historic building and we were not disappointed. The priory was built in 1087 and the host family are the fifth generation care taking this amazing building. Our en-suite had evidence of the drawbridge from days gone by. Being able to cool down at the end of the day in the pool was fab. It was very comfortable and Sylvie’s pancake breakfast was wonderful and the bread was the best we had the whole holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending . So sorry we only had 24 hours.I would go,back and spend more time in the local area, there was kayaking in the nearby river which looked interesting.

The host was lovely made us feel very much at home. The facilities were good, lovely warm swimming pool. Property has great character.

We wish we’d booked 2 nights instead of one! It’s not luxury but sheer bliss. The hostess makes you feel at home, she’s very knowledgeable on the area and encourages you to explore it. Including the 12th century church which is part of the property! the kids could run freely around the farm and enjoyed the swim in the pool. Lovely breakfast with their homemade jams. Thank you

It is a rear diamond. Mme Berthelin is amazing host. it is very unique place and worth the visit. History, farm, swimming pool and all the comfort you need. And the best ever breakfast. It is sooooo delicous - pancakes and home made jam. Wonderful experience, definitely coming back.
