Devonport House - Constantia

Great ambiance. Lovely room and gardens. Very attractive and spacious lounge, honesty bar.

The option of a cooked breakfast would have been the final strength to cap it, but un fortunately wasn't available.

The location was in the middle of well known Winlands. The view was spectacular from the room,and had a birds eye view over the vineyards and Constantia

The on-site team were exceptional, friendly and professional at the same time. Well trained staff, breakfasts were quality more than needed.

Everything about the place was amazing! The hosts and staff were really friendly and made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was prepared in their kitchen every morning and was one of the best we have had. The rooms had all the necessary amenities and a heater which was perfect for winter visits.

The location (and setting) was excellent, and room layout was very appealing and luxurious (the electric blankets were especially appreciated during the cold winter snap). The breakfast(s) spread were very good too, with an array of options. We especially loved the fruit and yogurt mix. Jacques and Jenny were absolutely delightful and very hospitable.

An gorgeous property and a very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. The views from the room were stunning. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wander through neighbouring vineyards to Groot Constantia. Thanks to Jacques for a lovely stay.

Maybe the weather, but that is nobody's fault.

Jacques is an excellent host. The suite was larger than expected. Nice and cosy. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens.

Pillows can be replaced.
