Devonport House - Constantia

Incredible in every aspect. Beautiful property Spotlessly clean Perfect setting. The gardens are delightful. Views from the room were stunning. Walks through the vineyards to Groot Constantia, a joy. Attention to detail is second to none Jacques and Jenn are charming hosts and wonderful company Jacques is an absolute gentleman, he went out of his way ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Pinto is the best chauffer All the team were helpful and friendly. Thank you to everyone at Devonport house for taking such good care of us and for making our stay unforgettable. Already counting down to being back next year.

Lovely clean Guest house, very quiet, lovely staff and Jacqu and Jenny the owners were on hand for all our needs and delightful people...We will definitely be going back and going for the suite rooms next time as quite a lot bigger...

This was our second visit to Devonport House . The staff are so friendly and helpful and it was an oasis of calm at the end of a busy trip to South Africa. The location is so good for visiting the wineries of Constantia.

lovely place in the Amazing area of Constantia, very beautiful guesthouse, perfect to relax and enjoy a nice wine nearby the gusthouse

We had a terrible experience during our stay, due to some strict rules related to noisy or something like that, one can't even turn the TV on during evening, the owner (I'm assuming) was extremely rude with us, he even threatened to quick us out of the guesthouse in the middle of the night, only because the TV was on and loud, and because me and my partner had a couple of wine and we were a bit loud in our room. the Wife on other side, is a adorable person and charming hostess.

Delightful house, the room felt very luxurious, as did the lounge and pool area. Good location to walk to some local wineries, Groot Vineyard only a few minutes walk where there are 2 excellent restaurants and wine tasting. The owners were really helpful, and arranged a late airport shuttle for us.

Very beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable facilities in a location just above constantia village. Excellent continental breakfast plus complimentary hot drinks at any time. Reasonably priced honesty bar, paid on departure. Laundry service available. Great hosts, efficient but not formal. Appreciate the lifts to local restaurants and sights from their driver ( Pinto). We did not have a hire a car but the lifts provided were offered at a good price, as is uber if you are stuck. Jenn & jacques make you feel totally at home. One evening we did not feel like going out so we ordered in from a local restaurant. Very much appreciated to be able to do this. Special mention to the gorgeous gardens and pool.

You are a little away from the village. A car is advisable.
