"Typical Westin, great location, comfortable and quiet, nothing special."

Rooms here are fine. Comfortable beds, typical Westin, location is great for Water Tower/Architecture/Michigan Ave shopping, etc. Staff is nice, can usually get early check in. It's a very large hotel. We don't do much except sleep and shower here, it's great for that. Convenient, clean, and quiet. Can't speak to the restaurant, just got coffee/pastry at the lobby Starbucks each day.

"Worst front desk person Jenieca"

I am here for a 3 day conference. Checked in on Tues Sep 9th 6pm. I had to deal with the worst front desk person at a Marriott property. Front desk girls name is Jenieca. She was so rude. She was rushing to get rid of me. I came after a long flight. I was tired. I had a few of questions about restaurants & conference rooms etc. She was not ready to answer any of the questions. I turned around look behind me to see whether there are any other guest waiting. There was none. At the same time other girl who was very sweet & friendly to the guest she was helping. I wish I had her. Jenieca IS NOT FIT TO WORK THE FRONT DESK. Some people are not made for that. She should be working back of the house. She may be racist. Or she was getting off her shift. I blame the management for hiring her. One employee could bring reputation of your establishment. I am a Hilton honors and Starwood member. This bothered me so much. I got up at 5am to write this.

I always stay either at this Westin or at the W when I come to Chicago. This is the best area of the City in my opinion. Lots of dining and shopping options, bars, etc. I always feel at home here. Definitely recommend.
