After taking my wife out I returned to the hotel around 10pm on August 1st. There was another couple that was at the front door of the hotel the lady was on the phone with someone trying to get them into the hotel. I approached the door to scan my card before I could do so the door buzzed open. I pulled the door open my wife and I entered subsequently the other couple followed us in. Then the lady at the front desk lectured me about not letting people into the hotel. I told her I didn’t let them in. And if they were to follow me into the hotel there’s nothing I’m willing to do to physically stop them. It’s not my place to do so. Then she said they have problems with homeless people entering the hotel. I said well there’s not much I can do about that sounds like you need a security guard. I’m a guest at the hotel not a volunteer security guard. The interaction left me kinda chapped. But rather than really giving the front desk lady a piece of my mind i decided to leave a review instead. Other than the one disappointing interaction with the lady at the front desk and then apparently having a problem with homeless people. It is a really nice hotel and the rooms are nice and quiet. Just be prepared to do some volunteer security guard work when entering the hotel.
