Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel

Soulless atmosphere, very corporate feel, tired rooms , mattress fit for the garbage , had a massive dip in it. Room service was incredibly poor . For example, the water , coffee pods , stirrers, sugar were not restocked , bin in bathroom not emptied. Sloppy work. Service round the pool was abysmal as was the bar round the pool

Good time

Stayed for one night while traveling and unknown to us there was a very large and loud nighttime wedding reception directly under our window . We asked to move with no response , we asked why they put us in that room with no response. Not happy with the management and their lack of response. Nice hotel and facilities if you get the right room but don’t expect service from management

Our stay was great. The place was clean, service was top notch. My only complaint is, although my husband said the coffee was great, I am a tea drinker and there was none. A little disappointing. I did enjoy the fruit flavored water. And really appreciated the bottles of water. The pool was great. Would definitely go back.

It is a mystery to me that this place is still in operation, and I will ask my assistant to avoid booking this place like the plague. The rooms are dated, NOISY (an “engineer” is here at 12:15am bc the air conditioner is unbearably noisy), and the front desk will do absolutely nothing to help you. I would rather stay near the airport if that’s the only available option.

Didn’t like

It took 40 minutes to check in… we stood in line for 15, 20 minutes and then they told us our room wasn’t ready yet. This is about 4:30, rooms are supposed to be ready by 4:00. The people at the desk were incompetent and had to help each other to check in guests and the credit card machine was not working. Then got to our room, took off my shoes and carpet was wet and mushy,gross, there was a manager for cleaning crew by our room and when I said the carpet was….. he said wet and mushy. Like he already knew. They put us in another room. It’s now 5:15 and we have to get ready for a formal by 6:00 only to find out that there is no shuttle, which was stated on the web site. For the price of the rooms and what we got I give it a -1. I have had better rooms for far less. This was supposed to be a 5 star and the rooms are outdated and the restaurant next door was so highly priced. We had appetizers and didn’t 150.00. I will never again stay at this hotel nor recommend it

We stay here every time we go on a cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. We just love Boca so that’s our choice. Great dining options, the mall is right there and the hotel is beautiful. The pool and bar is always fun. The meat market next door for dinner is so convenient and delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

Arrived at Renaissance, paid reservation canceled, poor service, and long wait with two young kids.Traveling with two young children—one just six months old and the other three years old—this situation has been incredibly frustrating

Wish there was a reasonable restaurant in the hotel. Nothing nearby (walkable). That was really my only complaint. Shuttle to airport would have been a plus, but not a big deal
