Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel

BY FAR the nicest hotel we stay at in Boca area. STAFF, HOTEL, RESTAURANT and Location are ALL EXCELLENT! We came here prior to/during renovations in 2022 and keep coming back - it's our go to! I am a Marriott Titanium member and do get lots of perks, but the best perk is staying on the 5th floor, so if higher member, get to 5 if you can. STAFF it's first because the staff is amazing! even at the restaurant (Meat Market) the bar tenders (inside and out) are very good and nice and very pleasant. Bu the hotel staff are INCREADIBLE! Our favorite has to be Michella!! she is AMAZING! LOCATION it's 2nd because it is so convenient.. you have numerous rstaurants and shopping all within reasonable walking distance but if you have a car even more possibilites. ROOMS the rooms are updated and so comfortable! Not the biggest, but plenty of room with a table and chair and nice sized tv. it is very comfy with great AC and window shades etc.. very comfy BATHROOM So the bathroom is definitely tight, but it is updated and nice. The showers are awesome and the WATER PRESSURE is solid. Not the strongest in the league, but does what it does.. It's not soft and doesn't take hours to rinse off. CLUB/5th Floor Members Room this is so perfect! get water or soda or snacks, with breakkfast and even dinner items during the week. My ONLY complaint is when it is busy (the hotel) the stock gets low.. (much like EVERY marriot club I go to during the busy season) the STAFF in this room are UNBELIEVABLE thugh and will get you watever you need or want.. they are AWESOME POOL/OUTSIDE this is resort style stuff in our opinion.. the pool and patio areas are AMAZING. we love being able to sit outside - day or night.. hop in the pool - whenever and enjoy a drink at the pool bar - when open. We LOVE this area and it truly makes the hotel amazing. HOTEL ROOM CLEANING SERVICE I am giving a special shout out here as the team that services the rooms are incredible! they will make your room extra comfy, every day and if you need anything - towels, toilet paper, water - whatever, they will get it to you! They get an EXTRA shout out as they really were amazing during our 4 night stay ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT There are always things that could improve - not knocking but where it could be worth the extra mile: - Club Level - I know parents, kids and rude people clean out the stock of soda and water and snacks, but during busy times, I would suggest overstocking that room, so that the "regular people" can grab a snack or drink versus it all being cleaned out - Ice machines - the one on the 5th floor has been broken for like over a month. No biggy as you can just go down the stairs to 4th floor, but boy that is a pain - Outdoor bar - it's ashame that this is open so limitedly and run by meatmarket as it is so cool and such an awesome location. Although we very much liked the meatmarket staff, it could be so much more. It was literally open for less than 5 hours and the worst part.. they are open during the happy hour inside and do not offer it outside.. so silly. this has so much potential to be more.. strongly suggest marriott take that bar and change companies or run it themsleves. - Valet + Parking - listen, this is not a hard place to find parking.. the ONLY reason to Valet is that you don't want to walk around the building. But seriously, like half of the bulding parking is BLOCKED for Meat Market and RARELY used.. the valet spots should be GREATLY decreased and should be moved to the back of the building so that paying guests can park up front and by the side doors. it's very silly. BUT we park ourselves EVERY time we are here and just go in and out the side doors etc. - Paying bill at MeatMarket - it is VERY silly that you can't charge your bill to the marriott system/room and earn points etc.. I get it, but while we were at both the inside and outside bars, we heard (including us) more than 10 people/groups ask to charge to room or have to run back and get credit cards as they did not have them on their person. again, very silly this is the case. it is unique to almost every marriott I have ever stayed at.

The location+ the service. There’s a lack of staff even when we checked in nobody came to assist for the luggage.

The pool area was gorgeous. We easily found loungers around the pool daily The hotel was quiet. Conveniently located near restaurants and shopping Easy access to the hwy. Thanks for a relaxing stay

We had an amazing experience

From the moment I checked in I had trouble with the room. The toilet was not working . I called a number of times and got no response. No one was there to answer the phone. I had to go down stairs to the front desk to get help. They did come up and fix it but the problem happened again. It seems like they have a plumbing problem.The shower was never hot and had very little water pressure. Also the first day I was out of the room from early morning till 4:00 PM. I came back to get ready for the evening, thinking the room would have been cleaned . It was not. When I called down to the desk I was told the cleaning crew worked until 5:PM and they would be coming soon. Again I was inconvenience.When They did clean the room they kept take the hand soap away at the sink and did not restock. Although The staff was very nice it did not make up for all the problems .There are a few thing one should expect when staying at you property Also They do not have closets in the room just open shelving. Very disappointed.

DISGUSTING! Discombobulated service providers, lousy food! The hotel is old, worn out and dirty. Watch for the breakfast constraints because the detached restaurant does whatever it wants. They stopped breakfast on Sunday on a whim, no explanation. The hotel desk manager said, “We have nothing to do with the restaurant”. A total hands-off, “we don’t care” mindset! Pick another place to stay.
