Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel

my husband and I had an amazing time, service was amazing by everyone at the hotel. we became members because we really enjoy ourselves while there. thank you to everyone and their amazing service .

Quiet, safe property

Check in was seamless. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. The property is gorgeous. There is no microwave in the room which was a little inconvenient but there is one in the lobby. Our fire alarm went off for no reason but our stay was great. The pool was gorgeous, the food was delicious. The drinks were extremely overpriced for being a premade frozen drink, but it was yummy.

The staff was very nice, but the hotel chose to test its fire alarms during our stay. We learned of this planned testing when we arrived on Tuesday. What we were not told is the alarms would go off (deafeningly loudly) every 5 minutes, all day long. This was in ever hotel room, the lobby, by the pool. You could hear the a block away - every 3-5 mins for a good 30 seconds. This began at 9am and was to go until 5, “unless they finish early” (per front desk). Then commence again the next day. You could not sleep, work, carry on a conversation or do anything because of these alarms. If a fire alarm happens to go off during your stay, I get that, but this was planned testing. We paid full price for our room, only to have alarms blaring all day. We, and numerous other guests, packed up and thankfully found another hotel nearby. The hotel let us cancel it our bookings for the next 2 nights but offered us no refund otherwise. The hotel should fully close if they need to do this testing. No one would choose to stay with alarms screaming all day. It’s also horrible for the employees. We had no warning this would be done during our stay when we booked. Having to change hotels was an inconvenience and it ended up costing us more. This is not an acceptable way to handle your maintenance or to treat your guests/customers.

The font Desk Staff was efficient and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only small knock on the staff is there was a water spill on near the meeting rooms that wasn’t mopped up for hours. I eventual wiped it up myself.

A beautiful, elegant and quiet hotel with walking distance to shopping and restaurants! Staff friendly! Only thing was missing is a make up mirror in the bathroom:)
