Lanta Ray Bay Hotel

Positivt med gratis uppgradering av rum och frukost. Resten tyvärr inte bra. Hård säng utan bäddmadrass och kudde. Dålig städning, väldigt lyhört hotell, dålig sömn i tre nätter av 6 nätter. Två våningar utan hiss så många trappsteg med tunga väskor. Annars bra läge nära stranden. Lungt område, men se upp för bilar och mopeder, ta med ficklampa väldigt mörkt på kvällen.

A spacious well air conditioned room with a comfortable bed. Nice pool.

The rooms are very close together around the pool area giving very little privacy. At the time we stayed there were a lot of families with young children so there was quite a lot of noise around the poolside rooms… just an observation.

Very good hotel in the best spot of Lanta. Room was spacious and comfortable, cleaned everyday. Great breakfast with decent options. Staff is super welcoming and they can help you with any tour bookings you may need. The location is the best - close to 7-11, restaurants and the beach (of of the best in Koh Lanta, in our opinion). Tip: go to Rasta Baby restaurant at the beach!! We simply loved our time there.

Close to the road gave some disturbing sound.

Very cosy, the hotel has a homely atmosphere that revolves around the main manager Naam. She is very nice, helpful, always smiling. She can arrange every conceivable activity on Lanta at reasonable prices, including transport, laundry, whatever you need. Just ask her. If you don't like her offer and have another one, it doesn't matter. The hotel is beautifully clean, the air conditioning is working. I also appreciated the breakfast combining continental and excellent Thai food, which we enjoyed very much. One of the best on Lanta is also the local beach Klong Nin within walking distance of about 150m. There is an ATM right in the reception and another one around the corner. This is because everywhere, except the shop, you have to pay in cash. You can also pay by card in the hotel, but with an extra 3% surcharge (to cover bank charges). There is also a gym in the hotel, full of trophies from the local club Ray Bay United. Just great. The best rooms are at the back facing away from the street. There is more space and quiet, the street is busier. There is a shop, pharmacy, massage and a number of restaurants and fruit shops nearby.

The only minor complaint I would have is the lack of one smaller and softer pillow, but that is just a detail due to my personal preference.

Some chairs on the balcony would be nice.
