Life House, South of Fifth

This hotel is so cute & quaint. The king room was big & spacious. The queen room was also big with a smaller bathroom area but big enough. The lobby is cozy & always seems pretty quiet. The staff members Danny & Jackie went above & beyond for my wife, sister & myself. If I had to dislike anything it would be that there's no food on site but not a big deal for us.

This was terrible no coffee bar I didn’t see a restaurant the room was old and it was freeezing, the staff was not friendly nor helpful the outside patio furniture looked moldy, hallway carpet looked like someone threw up on it. Very disappointed and want some kind of refund

We love SoFi and this was a great visit for us. It sorta turns into a bar/restaurant at different times of the day which is a bit confusing and inconvenient as a guest, but that's fine. We didn't realize they get a little clubby on the weekends and so our room was directly over the DJ on a Friday which wasn't super enjoyable, but thankfully they cut it off right at midnight. Any later would have been really not enjoyable. The lobby is gorgeous, but the place is fairly small so make sure that you have a good plan for your activities here. There are so many amazing bars, restaurants, and South Pointe Park close by. Bikes would have been nice, but I guess you can rent from the spots nearby.

As a family of 5 we stayed here and found the family rooms with 2 big bunks and a separate bedroom for the adults great. There was no musty smell and no noise from other rooms as other reviews have mentioned. Overall great stay. Car parking wise the hotel charges $50 plus tax for a valet service, but this is just a guy from the $20 car park diagonally opposite, so go here yourself and save some $$

This place is gorgeous and off a very quiet street/neighborhood which is so very lovely. The service is great, the drinks are beautiful and the plants are stunning. Very close to the beach and walking distance to most everything. Of note, the walls are extremely thin and you can hear every single sound in the hallway/next door neighbors, everything. Be prepared to sleep with earplugs and even then you might hear quite a bit of sound through it. Everytime I managed to fall asleep, a door would slam waking me up. Therefore I didn't sleep very well here at all. I would suggest the establishment keep tasteful, discreet signs in the hallway or in the rooms indicating "Please be mindful to shut your doors quietly and to keep your voices low in the hallways"

I would have to say this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. The service was amazing and they never hesitated to answer any questions or offer any help. The checkin and check out was super easy. Just a great experience. Thank you!!! We will definitely stay here again and recommend to people we know.

Room was clean and staff was super friendly

The staff and property was great. My only real complaints are that for room 200, it is at the stairwell. Since there is no carpet, and the door is not fully sealed, it was extremely noisy when people were coming and going - which was very often. There was also one morning around 6am when some guest decided to make a huge disturbance on the lobby level, that wasn't very nice. Otherwise, great place!
