Super convenient right at the markt with lovely views over the market place. Beautifully furnished and practical at the same time.

The antique decor was very cozy and comfortable, in addition to being renovated and clean. The appartment is much larger than it looks in the photographs. The location is perfect with a view of the marketplace. The family who owns it is very friendly and helpful. One of their family members came to show me the door code for the building and give me the keys to the room. He helped me bring my luggage up the stairs. Great value for the price.

The bed was quite comfortable and the location at the main market square was ok.

Large well equipped loft studio apartment in a great central location above a cafe on the market square in Wismar. Lots of nice restaurants adjacent and easy to explore the town. Great value.

The bathroom could do with some attention….shower fitting and protective glass door. Linen low quality. Many stairs to climb to this particular room.

We have stayed in a different flat in the same building before, so we knew that the location was good, and that it would be possible to store our bicycles safely overnight. There are a number of restaurants in close vicinity, and a nice bakery that opens at 6 AM where we had breakfast. The flat consisted of a hall, a bathroom and two bedrooms (one bedroom doubled as kitchen and sitting area, which was fine, since we were there for one night and did not use the kitchen). Unlike the loft, it was possible to open the windows to let air in, and it was not too noisy during the night, but in the morning it would have been difficult to sleep long. We are early risers, so it did not matter for us.

The shower arrangement was pretty bad. It is not very convenient to shower in a bathtub, and it was difficult to get the showerhead to stay up while showering. Refrigerator was not plugged in when we arrived, so we did not bother using it. Would have been annoying if we had planned to store food there.
