Great stay wonderful staff

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. There were some things that made the stay less pleasant. Our first night there was an issue with the elevator. The bathroom door would not close or lock, and the power or volume key on yhe bedroom remote were not working. There was was also paint on the light fixtures in the bathroom were the had repainted the ceiling without taping off the light fixtures. There was also an issue not getting a shuttle when we called, luckily the restaurant was only around .2 miles away(this wasnt the drivers fault I believe staff forgot to radio it in). All in all it was a nice 2 day vacation.

Great location. Liked the history behind the hotel and being able to visit its sister hotel the cresent.

The hotel is old and historical. In its youth I imagine it was gorgeous! Unfortunately, old things take a lot of upkeep and I’m not sure this hotel gets enough. The vibe is cool but the floors are very squeaky and loud. I heard the people in the room above me until late in the night. Because the hotel backs up to a large hill, the trash pick up and recycling is in front. The morning we left, I was startled awake by the sound of so much glass being dumped into the trash truck at 6:50am. It would have been really nice to sleep in a little bit.

Beautiful historic building from 1905. Has so much charm. Has a super cool game room and deck with fire pit and hot tub.

Upon arrival, we are excited because it’s a very cool looking, very old hotel, but it went downhill from there. Absolutely no parking except a small area to unload your car and you are given 10 minutes. The lobby is dark and drab and uninviting. Front desk receptionist was very unfriendly.Our room on the fifth floor was painted a dark dreary color. The bathroom is so tiny, there is absolutely no room for your cosmetics. But the worst part was a wedding reception was held on the sixth floor and we were on the fifth floor. The floors squeak and cream so bad that we could hear every single footsteps. Plus they were moving furniture around and rolling carts around. Let’s just say we got no sleep that night. We complained to the front desk and we were told they would look into it. It wasn’t the wonderful experience that we expected.
