Very nice people and quality of services

I like everything about this stay: staff super friendly and helpful, room has style, clean and spacious, pool is such a big advantage with cool water also in hottest day!

All the staff give us a warm welcome, they always received us with a smile and give us pretty good recommendations of thing to do and were to go visit. Meas, the Gest Experience Curator was very attentive and kind even before we arrived at the hotel. There is a beautiful pool surrounded by a little artificial jungle that make you feel like you are out of the city and into the jungle. Although Siem Reap is really hot, rooms has AC and you can sleep comfortable. They also provide the pick up service at the airport that is one hour away from the city.

I can not complain about anything but the weather, but that was our problem since we got there during low season that is the hottest one. Even though, we have a really good time at Siem Reap.

Great place to stay in Siem Reap. Very close to Angkor Wat, but more importantly a place with flair. Old Colonial Guest House recently converted to a 5 star hotel. Nice spacious rooms, small gym, nice pool area and great breakfast and afternoon tea included. But the best is the service: Yen was very helpful with all requests and made my stay very memorable.

We were a group of 15 friends staying here for four nights. We were deciding between Mane Colonial Classic and Two Seasons Siem Reap, both claiming to be 5* and rated very highly and equally in the reviews. One of our primary requirements was to have common area where we can gather for a chat. Mane Colonial has 2BR apartments with two bathrooms and a lounge. Two seasons has individual rooms. We picked Mane Colonial. The best aspect of the hotel is the super friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Before coming to Siem Reap, we were in contact with them through WhatsApp, and they were responsive. All our messages were answered right away. Not many reviews pointed out that the building has no lifts. This can be the deal breaker for many. The suites are located in second and third floors. While the suites are neat and tidy, the furnishing is not functional. There is lack of space to keep our clothes. The breakfast is a la carte, with a range of items with choice of hot beverage, fruit juice, pastries, which they are happy to refill. The quality of the food and presentation can be better. Having stayed at Pullman and Sofitel in Kuala Lumpur just before coming here, we could see the drop in class. Sofitel Siem Reap, a truly 5* hotel, is only 5 minutes walk from Mane Colonial. The hotel offered a free 30 minute massage to all guests which all liked and some went for extra sessions.
